Luís Virote
É arquiteto desde 2006, com mestrado em planeamento e construção sustentável.
Iniciou o seu percurso na área de segurança contra incêndios na Autoridade Nacional de Emergência e Proteção Civil em 2011 e é chefe da Divisão de Verificação e Fiscalização desde 2022, com competências na análise de estudos, projetos e medidas de autoproteção, realização de ações de vistorias e inspeções regulares.
É formador interno da Autoridade e orador em diversas palestras relativo às matérias de segurança contra incêndio em edifícios.
É também representante da ANEPC nos trabalhos de propostas de legislação, comissões técnicas, notas técnicas e outros documentos de apoio à regulamentação e normalização da segurança contra incêndios em edifícios.
He has been an architect since 2006, with a master’s degree in sustainable planning and construction.
He began his career in the area of fire safety at the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority in 2011 and has been head of the Verification and Inspection Division since 2022, with expertise in analyzing studies, projects and self-protection measures, and carrying out regular inspections and audits.
He is an internal trainer for the Authority and a speaker at various lectures related to fire safety issues in buildings.
He is also ANEPC’s representative in the development of legislative proposals, technical committees, technical notes, and other documents supporting the regulation and standardization of fire safety in buildings.
